EUGENE, Ore. – Head Coach of Oregon Acrobatics and Tumbling Taylor Susnara announced the signing of a class of nine future Ducks on Sunday.
“I am excited to welcome nine extremely talented student-athletes to our program,” Susnara said. “They are a fun group with a laser focus. We have athletes from acrobatic and artistic gymnastics backgrounds as well as competitive cheerleading backgrounds. Their unique and individual skill sets will add value where we need it most.”
Briya Alvarado – Coppell, Texas
Competed at Texas Dreams Gymnastics… 2020 won Level 10 First Place at Winter Fest and Level 10 Second Place at WOGA Classic.
Cassidy Cu – Castro Valley, CA.
Competed for the West Coast Training Center Acrobatic Club… 2021-23. three-time USA Senior Acro National Team member… 2021 and 2022 two-time member of the World Senior Acrobatic Team… Won the women’s group balance beam competition in 2022 Acro World Championships, with bronze medalists awarded in the all-around…Member of the first American women’s team to win gold at the 2022 World Acro Championships…President of Castro Valley High School’s Lean In Women’s Empowerment Club…A National Honor Society member.
Aubrey Edge – Guyton, Ga.
Competed for Savannah Cheer, the Miss Ruby club cheer team…Three-time regional cheerleader and state champion on game day…Recipient of the Coaches’ Competitive Cheer Award her sophomore year…Member of the National Honor Society at South Effingham. in high school and was named to the honor roll every year of high school.
Carly Garcia – Lathrop, CA.
Competed on the California All Stars Black Ops club team…Two-time Nfinity Legend Athlete in 2022 and 2023. and a two-time Generation Next Athlete in 2019 and 2020… Awarded the best in the California All Stars Black Ops team in 2021. Awarded an honorable mention each year at Delta Charter High School.
Maya Khauv – Redmond, Washington.
Competed on the Connect Cheer NW Twilight Club Team… Spent six years on the Level 6 World Team, 2022. third place finisher at The Cheerleading Worlds… Four-year varsity cheerleader at Redmond High School.
Haylie Macaraya – Kapolei, Hawaii
Competed on the Hawaiian Island Twisters club team…Attends Hawaii Academy of Technology, where 2017-23 was on the honor roll.
Angelica Martin – Wilmington, Del.
Competes for First State Gymnastics… Attends Sanford School where she is a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and earned first honors in 2020, 2021 and 2022. Three-time USA Gymnastics Region 7 Outstanding Academic Achievement Award (2021, 2022, 2023).
Lilly Paumier – Portland, Ore.
Competed on the Empire Athletics Sergeants club team…is a member of the National Honor Society at Central Catholic High School.
Morgan Willingham – Douglasville, Ga.
