What was your state of mind as a young OL player when several European and American clubs wanted to sign you?
I am very happy to join this club, it has always been my dream. I am happy to realize this today. It is true that other teams also wanted me, but one of my dreams was to wear the shirt of Olympique Lyonnais. I worked for it and it’s done. I hope to be on the pitch soon to help the team win titles. I chose OL because it is a great club, it was also my dream to be among the best, play against the best and win trophies.
How was your integration?
It went very well, I was very well received by the girls and everyone. I am very happy about this reception because I will be able to be in good conditions and achieve good performances on the field. True, it changes a lot both in the intensity of training and in the requirements set here, as well as in the new competitions in which I will play as the Women’s Champions League and competitions. But it is going in the right direction and will allow me to progress faster.
What are your goals for this season, also personal?
I keep the same goal of being decisive for the team. I have the same mentality and the same ambition as OL: to progress, to always be better in every match and to win all the trophies that can be presented together. The goal is to win every game with this club, it’s a challenge for me to be part of this group and win with the team. I’m also here to learn with experienced players so I can progress in my career.
The first trophy won will be won on Sunday evening. You followed these OL-PSG games and how did you feel before the actress’s progress?
These are always big matches that we watch, of course. It’s always an honor to play against OL, to try to reach their level, to give my best and, for me, to score against my dream club. (three times in three games last season). This time I will be with OL. It won’t be easy because PSG is a big team, just like OL, but I will play this year to win the first trophy at my new club. This adds even more excitement to the week before the start of the league season. I can’t wait to get started and continue this title.
This season was also special with your first World Cup, the first in Haiti too…
It was very important for me and the country to participate. Unfortunately, we didn’t win any games. (1-0 defeats against England, future finalists, 1-0 against China and 2-0 against Denmark) but the most important thing was to be there. This is also part of my goals that I want to give to my country.
