Chiefs Super Bowl win vs. The 49ers are blowing up the internet

The Kansas City Chiefs are once again world champions after a 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

The Chiefs are the first Super Bowl winners to become champions since the New England Patriots achieved success in Super Bowl XXXIX.

Despite the seemingly low score, the game was memorable and offered a little bit of everything.

As is the norm for Patrick Mahomes, who has fallen behind by double digits in all four Super Bowl appearances, the Chiefs had to mount a memorable comeback to win. After the teams traded scores at the end of regulation, the Super Bowl went into overtime for just the second time. After the 49ers conceded a field goal early in overtime, Mahomes went on a game-winning touchdown drive.

The sports world was quick to praise the repeat champions after their big win.
