Australia's future cricket stars hope to continue the nation's dominance over India in ICC finals when they meet in the Under-19 World Cup final in Benoni, South Africa overnight (from 19:00 AEDT).
Australia won the toss and elected to bat.
The senior Australian has won two straight finals against India, the WTC Championship plus the ODI World Cup, while the juniors are looking for their first crown since 2010 when Mitchell Marsh was in charge.
They have met India twice in the finals and come up short, with Australia not beaten at the Under-19 World Cup since 1998 (six straight defeats. India are going for their sixth title in nine finals appearances).

Australia struggled at times during the tournament, slumping to 87-5 against the West Indies before Sam Konstas hit a critical 108, while in the semi-final against Pakistan Tom Straker broke through with 6-24, but the top order failed again and required the 10th wicket of 17 for the Aussies to hit the winning runs in the final over.
Harry Dixon, who models his game after David Warner, has three half-centuries in the tournament, while the breakaway Callum Vidler has been firing throughout.
The final started at 7pm AEDT and you can watch it on Amazon Prime.
