Elon Musk says X would only collect biometric information with user consent

Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, will soon collect the biometric information of its users only with the individual’s consent. This was announced by CEO Elon Musk. In addition, data related to a person’s work, education history will be collected, Sputnik reported.

Speaking about X, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk wrote: “It is completely at the discretion of the user of X. This ID will not be used other than as expressly and expressly approved by the user.

Musk announced the audio and video calling feature

The Twitter mogul has been using the microblogging site to share his views since buying Twitter last October for about $44 billion. Elon Musk has announced that X (formerly Twitter) will soon introduce audio and video calling. He also indicated that the new feature will be compatible with Android, iOS, PC and Mac.

Musk said that when the feature is launched and updated, it will be possible to make audio and video calls without a phone number. Speaking of X, Musk wrote: “Video and audio calls are coming to X; it works on iOS, Android, Mac and PC; no phone number required; X is an effective global address book. This set of factors is unique,”

Twitter Corporation ceased to exist as a separate company due to its merger with X Corp. in April of this year. In late July, Twitter changed its logo from a blue bird to a black and white X logo. When introducing the new logo, Musk clarified that the new logo symbolizes “all of our imperfections that make us unique.”
