Japan Airlines introduced new equipment Airbus A350-1000 and thus will be the first company in the world to offer Euphony sound technology First and business class on each of the 13 long-haul flights it has booked from the European aircraft manufacturer.
Revealed Safran seats in 2022 Euphony is an innovative solution developed in cooperation with a French company Devialet, Hi-Fi audio specialist. Built on board, it offers a premium personal audio experience without headphones.
Euphony combines Devialet’s acoustic engineering expertise, patented proprietary technologies and the invention of Safran Seats, which integrates two bespoke Devialet speakers on each side of the headrest. The system adapts in real time to the audio content and ambient noise in the cabin to ensure an optimal listening experience without disturbing other passengers. Regardless of the position of the seat, passengers enjoy high-quality sound reproduction, clear and rich sound, and are not disturbed by headphones and wires. Thus, Euphony removes barriers to communication with other passengers or cabin crew and creates a harmonious experience on board.
