Science is fascinating when it is well told. This is the credo Science and the future, and this first popular science festival. As part of the 150th anniversary of the French Physical Society, this first edition will honor physics, but all the sciences will be in focus.. This first edition will allow the general public to meet some of the “stars” of promotion on YouTube, such as David Louapre (Science Etonnante), Valentine Delattre (Science de counter) and Marie Treibert (La Boîte à Curiosities). Fred Courant and his team at Esprit Sorcier TV, the new science TV channel on TNT, will be making a program in the center of the festival, Sunday at 17:00. These are some of the highlights among many activities: scientific experiments, signing sessions, music and science scene, collective workshops, mini-conferences, film experiences or even round tables…
A show about gravitational waves
Those interested in outreach, whether they are already researchers or still students, will also find information on key training courses to become a science journalist or communicator in the field. Finally, the arts will be present especially with an intriguing performance “Cosmosonos” around gravitational waves, “echoes of our origins” by the Calliopée ensemble, on Friday at 20:30.
