Experienced golf club operations manager Dan Naudo has been named general manager of Sindalah Island Golf Club in Saudi Arabia, managed by IMG.
A PGA Member and CMAE Certified Club Manager, Dan has spent the last five years at Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland, joining as Director of Golf in 2018 before being promoted to Assistant Manager in 2020 and Director of Operations in September. 2022.
His CV also includes seven years as head of operations at London Golf Club in Kent and four years in sales at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire.
Sindalah Island Golf Club, part of the $500 billion NEOM development project currently under construction on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, will feature a 9-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and a 280-meter driving range area.
The par-70 course, scheduled to open in 2024, will feature two sets of tees and measure 6,474 yards. Once completed, Sindalah Island will also feature a marina, hotel, shops and a residential community.
IMG Golf Course Services was tasked with providing pre-opening services, marketing and management of the golf club.
