European Ryder Cup stars headline DP World Tour action at the BMW PGA Championship, with Shane Lowry returning as the defending champion at Wentworth and Rory McIlroy chasing his third win of the season.

The PGA Tour’s new “FedExCup Fall” season kicks off with the Fortinet Championship in California, where Justin Thomas and Max Homa are among the big names, while the Ladies European Tour heads to Switzerland for the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open.

What happened in senior year?

Brian Harman scored an impressive win at The Open, building on Jon Rahm’s success at the Masters, Brooks Koepka added to his PGA Championship tally and Wyndham Clark claimed his first major win at the US Open.

Four of the five women’s majors produced first-time major champions, with Lilia Vu coming out on top at the Chevron Championship, Ruoning Yin taking care of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and Allisen Corpuz winning the US Women’s Open.

Celine Boutier stormed to an impressive breakthrough success at the Evian Championship, before Vu claimed a second major title after defeating Charley Hull at the AIG Women’s Open glory at Walton Heath.
