Samsung, the global leader in video displays, announces the future of gaming monitors with the latest additions to the Odyssey monitor line: the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 (model name: G95NC) and the 55-inch Odyssey Ark (model name: model: G97NC) . Gaming monitors will be on Gamescom 2023, the world’s largest computer and video game event, which will take place from 2023. August 23 until 2023 August 27 Cologne, Germany. The 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 offers a breakthrough visual experience for gamers looking to improve their performance and increase their competitive edge. With the world’s first Dual Ultra High Definition (DUHD) display and a host of high-speed connectivity options, the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 has already won Best Innovation Award at CES 2023.

The 57-inch screen’s 1000R curvature is as wide as two 32-inch UHD monitors, enveloping users in sharp images and a wide field of view, immersing them in games like never before.

Quantum Matrix technology powers Samsung’s Quantum Mini LED lighting in the display, which features separate smaller dimming zones. The result is a better distinction between light and dark areas of the screen, sharp contrast and less blooming effects.

The Odyssey Neo G9 takes full advantage of the Quantum Mini’s LED lighting by pairing it with a VESA HDR™1000 display. With a peak brightness of 1000 nits, HDR content looks sharp and realistic, accurately reproduces color and contrast, and improves color expression and depth.

Gaming performance matches the level of image quality, so gamers can realize their full potential. 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms (GTG) response time[1] reduce blurring and reduce duplication. The 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 offers VESA-certified DisplayPort (DP) 2.1 connectivity for smooth gaming, efficient video playback, and Neo G9 DUHD resolution up to 240 Hz.[2]. Odyssey Ark, the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming monitor, has received a major upgrade. Based on player feedback and the success of the original Odyssey Ark, Samsung has taken the new Ark to the next level. Along with stunning image quality, design and professional gaming performance, the new connectivity, convenience and performance features are sure to satisfy gamers looking for the ultimate in entertainment.

Features added to the Odyssey Ark (model name: G97NC) include the new Samsung Multi View, which allows users to see up to four inputs on the screen at once.[4]. Split-screen capabilities are enabled, allowing players full control and ease of use on a single screen, even when using external devices. A single screen with multiple inputs helps simplify the tables and keep them clutter-free, allowing players to focus on the game at hand. The new Multi View allows users to simultaneously view inputs from three HDMI ports and a DP1.4 connector. This new DP input also supports 4K UHD streams for high quality entertainment.

Ark is now more than a personal gaming room, it’s a one-stop source for all your computing needs. Added keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) switching functionality[5] turns Ark into a management station for seamless multitasking across multiple devices.
