US News & World Report ranks Virginia Tech's online graduate programs among the best nationally | Virginia Tech News

For the third year in a row, Master of Information Technology from Virginia Tech (VT-MIT) program was named the 3rd best online program in the country US News and World Report. For the fourth year in a row, the program also maintained its top spot as a veteran priority.

The program is a collaboration between College of Engineering and Pamplin College of Business.

“The VT-MIT program is at the forefront of academic excellence, offering a dynamic curriculum that transcends traditional boundaries,” he said. Parviz GhandforoushPamplin Dean of Graduate Programs and Executive Director of the VT-MIT Program.

Both Pamplin and engineering had other programs rank high in the magazine's 2024 list. in the ranking of the best online programs.

Pamplin is online MBA programs scored highly in its general management concentration, ranking 13th in this year's study, and business analytics, which ranked 14th nationally. Read more about the Pamplin ranking.

Worldwide, these rankings have increased as 2023 the online engineering graduate program rose eight spots from 25th, the online industrial engineering program rose eight spots from 16th, and the online electrical engineering program rose from 12th to no. 11.
